The Library of Flowers
Bottled Up, about a family of Chinese witches who can change emotions through perfume, will be released in Spring 2026 under the new name The Library of Flowers.
YA Book Announcement
I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be writing a young adult book, slated for publication in 2026.
Lily Chu’s YA debut THE VACATION SHIFT, pitched as a Gilmore Girls meets reverse Parent Trap mashup, about a struggling teen and her spontaneous mom who end up on a seniors tour of Japan in a spur-of-the-moment decision, with old ladies trying to matchmake them with a teenage boy and single dad on the trip, to Jennifer Ung at Quill Tree, in a very nice deal, at auction, by Carrie Pestritto at Laura Dail Literary Agency (world English).
Drop Dead cover reveal and pre-order
I am so in love with the cover for my latest book, Drop Dead. Artist Leni Kauffman captured Nadine, Wes, Dot Voline’s house, and the cats perfectly.
This book is dual narration, with Nadine played by Phillipa Soo, who does such a fantastic job on my other books. Wes is voiced by the extraordinary and iconic actor John Cho.
It’s coming to audio on Audible on August 1, 2024 and you can pre-order here:
